Supports genres, scenes and communities that carry extra costs or face additional barriers to putting on a night. This fund exists to keep diverse music scenes visible and supported across the UK.

What it can support

Niche or emerging genres and strengthening established ones
Additional safety and protection for fans and artists (e.g. extra barriers, security)
Promoter–venue partnerships that open a space up to new genres
Additional licenses that may be required for your specific genre or scene
Diversifying and growing existing audiences

Who it's for: Venues, promoters, and artists working to make a scene more inclusive, or to bring a genre somewhere it doesn't usually land.

Good to know

Support is assessed case-by-case, based on the idea and its benefit to the local scene, community or genre.
Evidence is required to back the figures up e.g. communications from the venue, councils or other stakeholders.
Subject to venue and cost requirements, approval where relevant.
